Going in

And finally that: it just happened, in the heat of the moment, as if there was something that really annoyed me and I had to rethink.

As usual, I didn't. It was more of a reflex, a blinding wade, a repeated bang; so I complied. That's why I wouldn't say that my reaction was a surprise; just more like a kind of well known guest that keeps on coming back, like a daydream, like seasons changing places.

So, very soon I learnt I had to try to find a balance, a refuge, a breathing space, just like the organic compost takes its time to give in, and renews itself into something that could be a rescue board floating at sea for someone, or a cork in a tiny fish bowl if you were a dizzy fish crying to get out.

That is, you being the fish and me just passing by, as if by chance, as you do when you are just going for a walk to nowhere in particular.
